Autodromo Internacional Do Algarve - Portimao

Here are all the motorbike track days organized on the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve - Portimao.

The Autodromo Internacional do Algarve is a racetrack for car and motorcycle competition located in the southernmost region of Portugal, precisely in the Algarve in the town of Portimao.

The track was homologated in 2008, receiving approval from the FIM and FIA. The circuit hosted the first official competition that year and the Portimao circuit was inaugurated by the WSBK World Superbike Championship. That occasion also coincided with the farewell to the world of motorsport of Troy Bailiss, who won the two races.

The track is 4,684 meters long and has 16 curves. The long straight of almost a kilometer and the conformation of the land on which the track stands, characterized by natural ups and downs, which have earned it the nickname of Rollercoaster, make the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve of Portimao a perfect circuit to experience on a motorbike and to be savored until the last bend. Theater of the most prestigious motor sports events, the Portimao circuit is also generally chosen during the winter season as a circuit on which to carry out preparatory motorbike tests and track days.

The circuit is part of what is described as a 'motorsport town' which includes a go-kart track, restaurants, five-star hotels and facilities making it a hub for modern, cutting-edge motorsport.
