#23 Riders Academy: the motorcycle school for young riders learns and has fun in Ottobiano
The motorcycle school for young aspiring riders experienced an intensive two-day training weekend in Ottobiano, in collaboration with the Italian Motorcycle Federation (FMI).

This weekend, on the Ottobiano track and during the CIV JUNIOR race round, the #23 Riders Academy gathered all its aspiring riders for two days of intensive training, simulating the dynamics of a real race weekend. Lessons were conducted by FMI technicians, who were able to verify the improvements of the Academy riders and share technical knowledge and new training formats with them.

Alongside off-track riding technique training, there were on-track sessions and moments of watching the CIV Junior races. These, combined with pilot-instructor and pilot-mechanic briefings, recreated the typical behaviors and dynamics of a race weekend. The highlight came on Sunday, when the Academy riders, in memory of Luca Salvadori, experienced a day like real racers: free practice in the morning, timed sessions in the early afternoon, and then group races with awards.
The #23 Riders Academy
The #23 Riders Academy is a competitive motorcycle school for young aspiring riders aged 7 to 17, affiliated with the Italian Motorcycle Federation (FMI). Through a seasonal program (the Academy runs over seven months) and an ALL-INCLUSIVE and LOW-BUDGET approach, providing participants with motorcycles (10/12 or 17 inches depending on age), technical gear (leathers, helmet, boots, gloves, etc.), and specialized technicians, it aims to offer a concrete and accessible opportunity to train the riders of the future. The spirit of the Academy is exactly that of football schools: no investment, such as buying a motorcycle, is required to participate. It is suitable for everyone, from those taking their first steps in the world of two wheels to more experienced young riders.
Prospects 2026: the motorcycle academy grows in Northern Italy
In 2026, the #23 motorcycle school will be present in different areas of Northern Italy, expanding its offer and becoming even more accessible. In addition to the areas of Varano de Melegari and Pomposa, two new locations will be added, one in Turin and one in the Milan area!
